Please forgive my ignorance with this question - the answer may be obvious.
For many patients with only one or two missing teeth, the Navident software wax-up of the proposed tooth crown position will be entirely adequate.
There will however be many cases with multiple missing teeth for which the Navident software would not be sufficient, and for which a wax-up and radio-opaque scan-prosthesis would be necessary when taking the scan - in order to plan the case properly.
For example, a patient with 6 missing upper anterior teeth, or a full-arch.
How do you incorporate a scan-prosthesis into the Navident workflow?
Thanks for the help.

Using Navident with a scan-prosthesis
A radiopaque scan-prosthesis can be use with Navistent (the thermoplastic impression with a CT marker). It is necessary to adapt it to the Navistent and the suggestion is to use a silicone bite to kep it in position vis a vis the antagonist.
A easier protocol is prosthesis STL matching to the dicom files. This is option is going to be released with V.1.4 of Navident software
Thank you Icasalena,
Do you know when V1.4 of the software is going to be released?
Thanks,
Bill
Navident V1.4 will be release with the new year.
Thanks lcasalena
